How the Novel Came About

A long car journey with two friends. Dating-fail stories, each more peculiar than the last. Somewhere between Hamburg and the Baltic Sea, the sentence fell: „You have to write this down.“ Then eighteen months of writing alongside a job and two daughters. Much of it actually happened to the author, told with a wink and exaggerated here and there.
